In memory of Gene Leyden ’41, who was committed to La Salle Academy and personally involved for many years. He was described as being a man with a great deal of enthusiasm and love. After graduating from La Salle in 1941, he motivated his class to stay involved with the school. In fact, faculty would be invited to his home regularly. The recipient of this scholarship should be a student who exhibits strong school spirit.
