A full tuition scholarship is awarded to the top male academic student on the North Shore of Staten Island. There are several criteria a nominee must meet in order to be considered for the “The Presidential Staten Island Scholarship.” He must have at least an overall 90% average starting from the 6th through 8th grades; take and place La Salle Academy as a choice on the TACHS Exam; and be an active member of the community. He will be eligible to continue receiving this scholarship each year by maintaining at least a 90% average, and is in good standing at the end of each academic year.
